Parish Life
Knights of Columbus
Members have the opportunity to live the faith they profess, to be of service to their neighbors, church, and community. Meetings occur the second Wednesday of the month in the Parish Center. Men of the parish age 18 and older are welcome to join the Knights.
Funeral Luncheon
Funeral luncheons are prepared and served in the cafeteria and gym. Volunteers are needed to:
- set tables
- prepare food
- help serve
- clean up
- donate salads and deserts
Church Decorators, Cleaners, & Garden Care
Decorators enhance the beauty of the church interior through each liturgical season. Help is needed particularly around Christmas.
Cleaners clean the church interior on a weekly basis.
Gardeners clean up and maintain the landscaped areas around the Parish campus.
Respect Life
40 Days for Life campaigns are held in spring and fall, with a fundraising Focus of Life dinner held in October for Grand Rapids Right to Life.
Christian Service
Food & Clothing Pantry
Open Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Mobile Food Truck
Volunteers are needed to help distribute approximately 5,000 pounds of food to families in need the first Tuesday of the month from April through October from 4-5 p.m.
Thanksgiving Meal
The Thanksgiving Meal program provides a hot meal on Thanksgiving morning to area low-income, senior apartments. Volunteers are needed to help prep the day before and Thanksgiving morning to cook, assemble meals, and deliver.
